The films, available to buy now for the very reasonable price of £9.99 each, are Moonlight Sonata starring Ignace Paderewski and Eric Portman, The Importance of Being Earnest with Edith Evans, Michael Redgrave and Margaret Rutherford, Carrington V.C. starring David Niven and the 1974 remake of Brief Encounter with Richard Burton and Sophia Loren. The major by-product of Robert’s day in the studio was meeting composer John Barry and British rock ‘n’ roll legend Tommy Steele, promoting his autobiography, Bermondsey Boy.
